Last season Shoot Music hosted the first ever Music Industry Fantasy Football League, featuring companies and individuals from across the music business. PIAS were the eventual winners, closely beating Empire Management to the crown in a nail biting last day of the season finale.
This season the league is back, bigger and better. The game is free to play and the prize is the very Big Cup, which is about 20 times the size of a Music Week Award!
Shoot Promotion founder Tom Roberts says “we want everyone from across the industry to take part. Record company people, Agents, Lawyers, Promoters, PR Companies...everyone. This is a great opportunity to compete and embrace the positive influence sport plays within the music industry. Our business is built on the synergy between the music and sport businesses and Fantasy Football brings these two great industries together. Sport and music are intrinsically linked, plus we all know that music is deeply competitive and our game provides the first industry wide platform for everyone to truly exercise that will against one another.”
Roberts continues, “it is also an incredibly easy game to play, so much so that even if you remain idle from for a period of time, you still have the chance to compete for the main prize (The Big Cup). Just like in music, it’s all about the charts. This game is for everyone and we hope it brings the industry together.’

About The Game
The Music Industry Fantasy Football League is the first dedicated fantasy league made exclusively for the music industry. To keep the rivalry and drama going throughout the whole season, and to give you more chances to win, we’ve split the game into nine Game Months. Unlimited transfers are available in the Transfer Windows that run from the end of one Game Month until the start of the next.
Over the course of the season your three highest Game Month point’s scores will be added together to make your Best Three Months total. The top performing teams will be shown on the Best Three Months leaderboard. To improve your Best Three Months league position you will need to better your third highest Game Month score.
